Farmers Market Nutrition Program
The Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market is proud to participate in the Farmers Market Nutrition Program, which provides low-income seniors, new mothers, and families with coupons that can be exchanged for Arizona-grown fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, and fresh-cut herbs.
Once a year, families actively participating in WIC and qualifying seniors may pick up an AZFMNP coupon booklet at our farmers market or any qualifying farmers market.
WIC participants can pick up $80 worth of coupons and seniors can pick up $100 worth of coupons.
Food is medicine! By increasing our consumption of local produce, we’re nourishing our bodies and strengthening our local food system.
2023 Updates
Matching coupons are now available!
WIC participants are eligible for one $30 coupon booklet + a $50 matching booklet for a total of $80.
Senior participants are eligible for one $50 coupon booklet + a $50 matching booklet for a total of $100.
WIC participants are now able to receive coupons per eligible INDIVIDUAL, rather than per household (as it was previously). For instance, a family of three who are all eligible can receive $240 worth of benefits ($80 per individual). An Eligibility Card is required to receive coupons per individual.
Upon your next WIC Clinic appointment, families can receive an Eligibility Card which will detail every eligible participant within your family.

Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program
To participate in the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP), a person must be at least 60 years of age, have income at or below 185% of the annual poverty income guidelines, or must be participating in the Commodity Senior Food Program (CSFP).
Limit of $100 in coupons once per season (February-November). If you’ve already received FMNP coupons this year, you are deemed ineligible for SFMNP until the next season begins.
Seniors who struggle with transportation barriers may have someone else shop for them at the market, known as a proxy. Seniors who self-declare must fill out the self-declaration form prior to sending their proxy to the market. Once complete, the proxy needs to present this form to our staff at the market. Once verified, the proxy can receive coupons and shop on behalf of the senior.
To request a physical copy of a self-declaration form or be presented with a digital copy, please email Liv with Pinnacle Prevention, [email protected].
